My nails were paper thin due to a lot of exposure to acetone. This helped me in the beginning of my process to thicken my nails

While this product does work at making my nails stronger, I have an issue with it constantly being bubbly and it doesn’t dry down hard. It’s always thick and gummy no matter how thin I try to make it. I’ve used 2 bottles so far and both have done this.

This product DOES give you stronger nails, but not thicker. Also, after about 3 months on use, the product gets stringy and gets stuck in the strengthener.

Nails might be stronger but are an ugly yellow!

My nails are YELLOW!!! They look horrible.
I was so excited to try it and was heartbroken when I saw the yellow hue. I removed the polish and my nails are still yellow!

I have nails that break easily, split and are just thin. I was hoping for the best with this but I’ve been using it for about 3 months and haven’t seen any real difference. My nails still break, stay short and split all the time.

Doesn't do what it says on the tin!

I needed something to strengthen my nails as due to my work they flake and break easily. I didn't want to go down the false nail route so after searching i decided to try this product. Well I wish I'd not bothered, $20 and a week later there's absolutely no difference. My nails still split and the miracle strengthener just chips off. Very disappointing results...Oh well back to the search

This product comes in a nice bottle, good size. I used it every day for a week and yes it made them stronger but only a little, it also chipped off very easily, I will continue to try to use the product but honestly it is not what I expected it to be.

Had this product a few weeks now , I suffer with brittleness on my nails they peel and break so easily. I don’t think this is what it’s hyped up to be it has to be applied daily , it chips easily and runs so fast when applying to the nail .

I use this a several times I didn’t see any difference. It’s like you are using glue (the texture) on you nail and It don’t last long, it dries up and crack like a parched soil and then it will peel off like a dry skin. I didn’t like this and I wouldn’t recommend it.

Peels Off Too Fast to be Helpful

Dunno about the strengthening power because it peels right off before any meaningful difference can show, which also makes it completely useless as a base coat unfortunately. I usually love Sally Hansen, and I don't usually mind a peeling base if that's what I'm looking for, but I'm really disappointed in the bonding of this product. Even with proper prep and care, I'll be missing at least one entire nail less than 24 hours after a manicure :(

Crappy Product

This product peels off in sheets. I'm tired if wasting money. Sally Hansen products are just NOT what they used to be. If there was less than 1 star, this would get it.

Soaps, oils, and dirt on your nails can make your polish or gloss wear off quicker. To help the polish last as long as possible, follow these tips: Before applying polish Wipe your nails with nail polish remover and then wash hands with warm water. Don't buff your nails as this can make the nail surface too smooth for the polish or gloss to take hold. Applying polish Apply a second coat, this will extend wear.
Each coat needs to dry and set before you can reapply. After applying polish Allow enough time for the nail polish or gloss to dry and set. If possible, avoid hot baths and heavy housework for 12 -24 hours after doing your nails. Use protective/rubber gloves when doing housework/manual work or gardening. Detergents and household cleaners can make nail polish or gloss wear off quickly. We hope this helps!

I paid £10 for this product..it hasn't made one iota of difference to my peeling nails..it just peels off where you most need it ..that is at top of nails..save your money..really annoyed as this was quite pricey..no i would not recommend it to others..

Chips and peels too easily

I usually like Sally Hansen products but this one is very disappointing. I’ve tried it 3 times now, trying to do thinner coats but as soon as it’s dry it chips straight away. I put it on 2 days ago and 50% of it has chipped/peeled off. It’s made no noticeable difference to the thickness of my nail.

Very thick, almost impossible to apply a thin, even coat on nails. Goes on like liquid glue creating bubbles on your nails that are visible once polish is applied. Doesn't do anything to keep polish from chipping. In fact, more chips appear quicker when using this product. Returned it. Won't buy anything else from Sally Hansen. Revlon is much better.

I have used this product for a week now. It bubbled on my nails the first coat. I thought my nails had some oil on them so I TRIED to take the product off with polish remover but not all of it came off. I repolished my nails despite not having clean nails because I'm trying to save them after artificial nails, and it is bubbling again. Not sure what to do?

I have used this several times by itself and as a base coat. It peels right off in a sheet. Very frustrating when you take time to paint your nails with this as a base and then a color and then top coat and it peels right off in sheets. Even if I use on its own

This is just a clear coat... but worse. It chips off almost immediately, leaves bubbles through the nail, and does nothing to strengthen the nail. When the polish starts to dry, it leaves almost string-like fibers which I thought might help, but they did nothing. Definitely not worth buying another product, and definitely doesn’t strengthen up to 70% in 4 days. Skip it.

Horrible Product

Have been using as directed for soft, brittle nails with absolutely no positive results. In fact, the results have been negative. The product was very difficult to remove even after soaking in nail remover & attempting to scrape off. I wish I could get my money back.

Dosn't work for me

First off no matter what I do it bubbles. It peels off super easy an takes off a layer in the process. It dries kinda quick which is the only pro. Will not buy again for the price I could have gone with a better product. If it wasn't for the bubbling I could make it work but that alone drives me to pick it off.

I bought this a month or so ago. Followed directions- one coat takes over an hour to dry! It then peels off-what a waste of money for me! Would not buy anything like this again!!!

I've only used 1/4 of the product and it is too thick. When you put the wand in to get the product it leaves "weblike strings" trailing from it and hard to apply properly because of the thickness.

I have issues with some of my nails bending, so I thought this would be ideal. How wrong I was! It goes on lovely, although the smell is really really strong. Then the next day I added an extra layer as suggested (a layer everyday for 4 days) which is when I noticed how much has been chipped off already. But I added a layer nonetheless. I didn't bother adding layer 3 or 4 as 90% of the varnish had already chipped off and my nails are not stronger for it, in fact 2 nails have broken whilst wearing the "miracle nail thickener"

I purchased this product and tried to use as instructed. It just peels off as soon as it dries and that was only with 2 coats when I tried to use it 4 days in row it was even worse. I don’t know if it was old when I purchased it but it was a waste of money and I wouldn’t know if it worked.
